Choosing a medical school is a considered decision. Students go through a research-intensive process to find the right school. Given that, St. George’s University in Grenada wanted to improve their search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure their school was listed when students were searching.
Netplus started with intensive research and recommendations to help St. George’s with their goal– competitive analysis, identifying technical barriers, discovering opportunities, and creating keywords and copy – to set up the web site for a successful SEO campaign. After the web site updates were complete, we moved our focus to in-bound links – one of the biggest opportunities in SEO. We kicked off a link building campaign over a 6-month period – growing links slowly over the course of time.
Throughout the campaign we monitored the competition and continually optimized. Doing SEO the right way paid off. Saint George’s University is now at the top of many search engine results pages – including being second only to Wikipedia for “Caribbean Medical Schools”. Successful SEO starts at website inception and methodically builds over time.
